Happy 27th Birthday, Ben!

This Sunday, January 15th, Ben Yorgey would be celebrating his 27th birthday.
As Ben's family, we felt this would be a great time to share the newest video we recently had produced.

Ben Yorgey Memorial Award 2012

Please look over the following list. If you know of a young person with special needs that would fit the criteria, we encourage you to download the nomination form, fill it out and return it to Ben Yorgey Foundation, 5771 Buckeye Rd., Macungie, PA  18062

Application deadline is March 2, 2012.

Criteria Necessary for Consideration of Nominee
1. Person nominated is to be someone who loves people, school, life and is an active participant in the community.
2.Registered with Lehigh County Office of Intellectual Disabilities or Carbon County Developmental Services.
3.Leaving the school system at age 21.
4.At time of nomination, not receiving any waiver.
5.Recommendation accompanying nomination form must come from an educator, parent and/or community member.

Video: The Ben Yorgey Foundation

You may have noticed at The Ben Event this past summer that we had a videographer among us! He will be producing 2 videos for us. The one here is the more comprehensive video of the two and will be used to give people an overview of the Foundation. Check it out!
